About the role

We are recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive to handle both new business as well as existing renewals dealing with both local and International Insurers and our panel of Introducing Agents.

Overview of duties

  • To maintain and develop relationships with existing retail clients. wholesale customers and insurers.
  • Manage our renewal strategy in accordance with the companies procedures/aims to maximise results.
  • To target and develop new customers and service new business enquiries from our customers.
  • Liaise with Insurers, Account and Claims Handlers to maintain and achieve excellent customer service standards.
  • To assist senior executives in the development and implementation of all the key business strategies of the firm.

Person specification

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Strong communication / presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team
  • A high level of IT skills e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

Education / and or Experience

  • CIP qualified or working towards
  • Minimum of 2 years commercial broking experience
  • Experience of Open GI system is desirable but not essential

Salary: Competitive depending upon experience
