About the role
We are recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler, to join our growing team, based in Malahide, Dublin. The main purpose of a Commercial Account Handler at NFP, is to work on the administration of client’s insurance requirements including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations and account procedures. Provision of technical, administrative and client service support to the insurance service Sales Executives/Directors.
Overview of duties
- Support Account Executives in managing a portfolio of Clients dealing with Renewals, mid-term alterations, claims and all general queries
- Achieve best client service in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that all client deadlines are met
- You will manage renewals in ranging from SME – Corporate covering risks such as EL, PL, PI, D&O, Property
- Achieve an appreciation of each client's business and culture
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Participate in project work
- Important to have some good technical knowledge

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Highly accurate with good attention to detail in completion of all tasks
- Hard working, proactive and flexible
- Capable of solving problems
- Good interpersonal, organisational, analytical and communication skills
Education and experience:
- Previous experience working for an insurer or broker is required
Key information:
Salary: Competitive depending upon experience
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday
Location: Malahide, Dublin (Hybrid)
