About the role

We are recruiting for an Employee Benefits Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Dublin. The main responsibility will be for generating new business for the employee benefits division.

Overview of duties

  • Manage and drive new business from leads generated by NFP marketing
  • Develop new business, deliver new business targets
  • Work with recent Acquisitions to further develop Client opportunities
  • Identification of new Introducers to support new business activities
  • Sales presentations using all methods to prospective clients to identify opportunities to sell employee benefits, face to face and on Teams / Zoom
  • Ensure formal contracts and service level agreements exist for all new clients
  • Deliver full handover to client delivery teams for newly acquired clients, including involvement of finance team for in voicing purposes
  • Work alongside the sales and marketing team to deliver effective and engaging marketing activities for new clients
  • Build relationships and awareness of employee benefits solutions within NFP
  • Track all enquiries and add client information onto the dedicated CRM, maintain accurate records at all times
  • Feedback to Ire team and MD on sales pipeline and upcoming opportunities

Person specification

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Self-starter that is highly motivated and proactive in developing a client portfolio of new and existing clients
  • Strong knowledge employee benefits and in dealing with C-Suite decision makers, including risk and retirement solutions, health, dental, optical and other wellness offerings
  • Strong communications skills with new and existing clients including presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Articulate enough to identify opportunities and formulate solutions
  • Confident and driven to use all communication channels available when dealing with clients and maintain high levels of proactivity in new business development
  • Is highly organised and able to prioritise
  • Has the ability to build relationships at all levels
Education and experience:
  • BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • QFA or higher essential

Salary: Competitive depending upon experience
Hours: Monday - Friday
Location: Hybrid, Dublin
