The money worry effect
Why employee financial stress is becoming a workforce strategy issueAccess the guide
Learn how employers can take a more connected approach to employee financial wellbeing, health benefits, pensions and workplace support.3 in 4 workers worry about money at work. Is your benefits strategy connected enough to respond?
Money worries do not stop at the workplace door.
NFP Ireland’s latest research found that 75% of workers worry about their personal finances at work at least sometimes. The same research found that only 36% of adults are confident they will be able to afford private health insurance in the next two to five years, while 58% of workers feel underpaid or undervalued.
For HR leaders, wellbeing leads, reward and benefits decision-makers, finance directors and business owners, this raises an important question:
Are financial wellbeing, health benefits, pensions, protection and employee communications working together as one connected employee support strategy?
Access the guide to explore what the data means for employers and how a more connected approach can support financially steady, healthier and more resilient teams.

Why this guide matters
Financial wellbeing is no longer just a personal issue for employees. It is increasingly shaping workforce resilience, employee engagement and the overall employee experience.
Across Ireland, employees are managing money worries, rising household costs, questions around pay, concerns about health insurance affordability and uncertainty about the future of work. These pressures can shape how people feel, how supported they are and how they value the benefits available to them.
For employers, the opportunity is not to solve every personal financial challenge. It is to create clearer, more connected support around the moments that matter.
That means looking at financial wellbeing, health benefits, pensions, protection, reward and communications together — not as separate initiatives.
